  • Registered NGO (valid 12A/80G certifications)
  • Active in WASH sector (minimum 2 years)
  • Geographic operational area defined (state/district/block)
  • Track record of completed WASH projects
  • Valid bank account + FCRA (if applicable)

Common questions

Is there a fee to join the platform?

No. Registration and project listing are free for verified NGOs. We don't take a cut of funding either - 100% goes to project execution.

Can we list projects outside our registered districts?

You can list projects anywhere you have proven operational presence. Just update your geographic scope during registration.

What if a CSR team selects another NGO over us?

Funders choose based on proposals - timeline, budget, team experience. If you don't win a bid, your project stays listed and visible to other CSRs.

Do we have to work with government bodies?

Yes - local government oversight ensures permits, land allocation, and regulatory compliance. They track but don't interfere with execution.

How long does verification take?

7-14 working days after document submission. WASH Institute reviews credentials, past projects, and geographic claims.
